Paraguay. Tasa Logística's 18,000 m2 warehouse in Guazú was recognized with LEED Gold Certification, being the first to reach it in Paraguay.
The complex, located in the Villeta District, includes offices, temperature-controlled chamber and storage cage for dangerous products.
The building was built especially for Unilever Paraguay as part of the strengthening of TASA's business plan. The project adds to the regional expansion strategy that the Argentine company carries out in three countries.
The certification granted by the U.S. Green Building Council distinguished us among the best constructions in the Rating System NC (New Construction) category, which qualifies Guazú as one of the 8 most sustainable buildings in South America.
"Logistics companies must adapt to the ecological and environmental needs of today's world. In that sense, the recognition of our LEED deposit in Paraguay is the confirmation that we are on a sustainable path. It is a pride for our company and should serve as an example for the projects that are coming," added Facundo Casillas, commercial director of Grupo TASA.
