Mexico. The Reforma Latino Tower, located in the Cuauhtémoc mayor's office, was recognized by the Mexican Association of Smart and Sustainable Building with first place in the 2018 Smart and Sustainable Building Awards, in the Corporate Building category.
According to Fibra Uno, the company that owns the property, the award recognizes the tower for offering safety and comfort to its occupants, in addition to providing superior conditions of quality of life and respect for the environment thanks to its energy efficiency and the rational use of non-renewable resources.
The building was qualified in categories such as Architecture and Civil Engineering, Electromechanical Installations, Special Installations (including security), automation and transport of information, Operation and maintenance, and finally Sustainability and energy efficiency.
The Reforma Latino Tower is a skyscraper built in 2015 located in the most important financial corridor in Latin America, where the famous Cine Latino was previously located.
This property highlights its easy access, as well as being a sustainable building that is distinguished by having a modern sustainable infrastructure, obuvo the LEED GOLD Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, for its acronym in English), certification system with international recognition for sustainable buildings created by the Sustainable Building Council of the United States (U.S. Green Building Council). In addition, the Tower has parking for bicycles, dressing rooms and showers for Condominiums, encouraging the use of means of transport that do not pollute the environment.
