Latin America. ISSA, the world's leading association for the cleaning industry, has signed an agreement with Latin Press to manage all of the Association's activities in Mexico, Central and South America, with the exception of Brazil.
The agreement includes the organization and realization of Expo Limpieza 2019 that will take place at the Word Trade Center in Mexico City, on June 5, 6 and 7. Likewise, Latin Press will handle membership sales, marketing activities and their reach in the region with key market players. Additionally, the parties have signed the intention to explore new opportunities for new events in 2020.
"The cleaning industry fits perfectly into our portfolio because it is one of the key elements of facility management," said Max Jaramillo, president of Latin Press. "We have accumulated years of experience in the facility management sector in Latin America with our Tecnoedificios congress, we hope to be a strategic ally for the continued growth of ISSA in Latin America."
Over the past two years, ISSA has launched new educational events and congresses in countries such as Panama, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and Peru. Some of ISSA's most recent initiatives include Spanish-language products such as monthly newsletters, CMI training books, CMI standards, I.C.E. certifications, K-12 cleaning standard, webinars, among others.
