Mexico. Sustainability for Mexico A.C. - SUMe held its Extraordinary Assembly of Elections, to define the new Board of Directors for the period: 2019 – 2021. This happened last Tuesday, April 23.
The event began with the participation of the Executive Director - M. en C., Alejandra Cabrera. Subsequently, the Outgoing President, Mr. Luis Alberto Vega, gave a few words of welcome.
Next, 4 Tellers were elected: Chantall Estala, Darío Ibargüengoitia, Daniel Reyes and Miguel Ángel Obregón, who supported with the vote count. The Postulant Associates were presented: Alejandría Designers, Buildable, MeTecno and Taller Híbrido, as well as Marynes Alcalá as an Independent Professional, immediately voting to join SUMe.
Mr. Fernando Calderón, Treasurer of SUMe, presented to the Assembly, the Policies and Procedures carried out during the period 2017 - 2019. These are: Administration Policy, Conflict of Interest Policy and Travel and Per diem Policy.
At the end, the Director explained the voting method for electing the new members of the Board of Directors, and invited people to go to the polls and cast their vote.
After the casting of votes by all our associates, the Tellers carried out the count for each of the candidacies.
Finally, Luis Alberto Vega - Outgoing President presented to the Elected Board of Directors, which will be composed of: Caroline Verut, President; Andrea Castillo, Rubén Morón and Peter Templeton, Vice Presidents, and Jesús Galván, Treasurer.
