Mexico. The thermal camera solution plus a device called Blackbody has been successfully implemented in Plaza Carso, at the entrance to the corporate offices of Tower II.
This thermal solution and the Blackbody, from the Dahua Technology brand, make up a temperature measurement system for ultra-high precision human thermal images, a key piece for the prevention and control of pandemics such as COVID-19.
"At the moment Mexico and many other countries in Latin America are experiencing an epidemic control phase where it is essential to detect early and accurately any person suspected of fever. This is the best way to deal with and avoid a massive spread that puts at risk the stability of the country as has happened in other parts of the world," said Sánchez Xia, CEO of Dahua Technology Mexico.
With this solution, Plaza Carso has strengthened its prevention strategy by measuring the temperature of visitors in real time to detect people with body temperature above 37.3 °C and activate an alarm that allows immediate action. Of course, this parameter can be adjusted according to the particular needs of each client or healthcare institution, in fact, the high-precision thermal camera plus the Blackbody guarantees an accuracy of ±0.3°C.
With 7.5 mm and 13 mm lenses, it can reach an accurate temperature measurement distance of up to 3 meters, plus they have the capacity to measure the temperature of up to 80 people per minute. This largely meets the needs of rapid deployment, long distance and accurate temperature measurement of high-density crowds in public places.
With the Dahua IVSS system, the alarm response time can be shortened to less than 1 second allowing detection and early warning. At the same time, on-site personnel will identify the incident quickly through a sound and light alert, to prevent human factors from causing any omission of people with symptoms that pose a risk to the public.
This system is currently available in Mexico and it is advisable to use it to meet the needs of prevention and control of pandemics in high density and high traffic scenarios such as airports, subways, bus stations, shopping centers, corporate buildings, stadiums, schools, among others. It should be noted that, a few hours after his arrival in Mexico, the solution has already been requested by some municipalities in the North of the country and various private institutions.
