Colombia. Ágora Bogotá Centro de Convenciones recently received recognition as winners at the WorldTravelAwards 2023, in the category of South America's Leading Meeting and Conference Center.
This award recognizes the trajectory as one of the main destinations for the realization of congresses, conferences, conventions and events of small, medium and large format.
Ágora Bogotá Convention Center has established itself as a benchmark in the events industry in South America, thanks to its modern facilities, equipped with state-of-the-art technology that offer an environment conducive to the realization of all types of events from an innovative design and capacity to receive up to 5,000 people.
This venue has been the epicenter of events such as: One Young World (2018); UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee (2019); World Congress of Neurosurgery (2022); Devcon- Hackathon (2022); International Congress of Dental Research (2023), just to mention some of the most prominent.
This center is committed to sustainability and responsible management of resources in the realization of events to promote a more sustainable future. In 5 years of experience, Agora has contributed to the generation of more than 20,000 direct and indirect jobs through the nearly 600 events held since 2018.
It is the third time that Ágora Bogotá Centro de Convenciones receives this recognition within the framework of the WorldTravel Awards.
