The resort has undergone a total renovation that includes: a new open lobby, a new spa and improvements to the 202 rooms, restaurants and pool area. Guests can enjoy the new facilities in all-inclusive packages, plus complimentary access to all non-motorized water sports, the fitness center, karaoke, dance classes, and live music at the bar. Three restaurants and two bars offer local and international, Italian, and Costa Rican cuisine in a formal setting; a color-coding system identifies the content of cholesterol, fat, fiber, calories, energy, or sweets. For children, the Kidz Paradise club offers activities such as games, hiking and a volcano of its own. The spa is equipped with 13 treatment rooms with spectacular views of the ocean and gardens, a swimming pool, as well as a modern conditioning center and treatments with ingredients such as volcanic stones and local fruits. From December, a full-service fee will be effective from US$129 per night in double occupancy.
