A new warning was announced by the Association for Citizen Security of Peru (Aprosec) so that people who inhabit buildings and condominiums are careful and adopt vital measures to avoid the new wave of robberies that have been occurring in that country.
Despite tightening security measures, thieves have devised increasingly creative methods of theft.
Therefore, the Association has launched a call for property managers to make the necessary investments in security technology and equipment that fulfills prevention functions, such as electric fences, cameras, sensors, panic buttons, and the hiring of qualified personnel to manage the goal. In addition, he emphasized contracting with recognized and reliable companies.
As reported by Aprosec one of the Districts where this increased theft is San Isidro, there one of the most used modalities by criminals is identity theft: they pose as technicians of service companies or home of restaurants, pharmacy or supermarkets.
Without the intention of generating prejudices among the community, the Association warns that after studies it was concluded that a significant number of this type of crime are facilitated by information that is produced by people who are part of the environment of the victim, drivers, domestic employees, doormen, etc.
Therefore, it is suggested to take the appropriate measures when it comes to hiring people from whom maximum confidence is required, making use of state-of-the-art safes and carrying out audits in order to determine the vulnerability of the building.
