Mexico. In a study conducted by the company Regus with a survey of more than 20,000 senior executives and business owners in 95 countries, 78% of Mexican workers said they consider themselves more productive when they can work flexibly.
In addition to the above, in Mexico 80% of people believe that flexible working fosters a greater sense of responsibility and time management. 74% consider that it improves the quality and speed of decision-making and 80% consider that it encourages creativity.
Overall, the study notes that factors such as flexible working, cloud work, knowledge management, better communication, training and health measures, such as offering employees the ability to get to work on foot or by bike, can improve productivity.
Cati Cerda, director of Regus Mexico, pointed out in this regard that "flexible work, with added benefits such as greater creativity and the potential for opportunities to form networks, generates greater certainty in the businesses that support the essential role of this practice at a global level. In addition to significantly reducing unused office space, we are talking about a perfect solution for businesses that want to generate savings and improve both the happiness and productivity of their workers."
