Argentina. The economic situation in Argentina is going through a complicated moment, according to the most recent report of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the economy of this country will remain stagnant in 2015 and 2016, due, among other things, to the persistent decline in the prices of raw materials. However, in the real estate field the situation is different.
According to a report by the consultancy Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), the office market is recovering and presents a positive trend in the rental price. In fact, the report revealed that for the second quarter of the year the rental price of class A offices registered an increase of 4.5% in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires.
C&W pointed out that these are the first symptoms of recovery of the real estate market in the country and stressed that during the first half of the year 16 thousand square meters of available office space were absorbed.
"The good performance of prices is based on the decrease in the vacancy rate during the first six months of the year. This is the result of demand, which has managed to absorb 16,600 square meters, positively impacting market indicators," says the report.
