Mexico. Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the opening of the first Holiday Inn hotel with a Kaba lock system. The hotel located in Santa Fe, Mexico City, will feature proximity technology that will make access to the rooms safer and more reliable.
The system chosen for this installation was KABA's ILCO 790, which, according to Ramiro Gordillo, Director of Business Development for KABA Mexico, is one of the most robust and complete options for this type of property.
"The migration to proximity systems applies both to hotels in operation with mechanical key locks or magnetic stripe, and of course to hotels looking for a robust system but very accessible in price," said the KABA representative.
KABA's ILCO 790 system is very easy to use, as guests only have to place the card in front of the lock; It has auditory and visual support for the user, as well as the automatic cancellation of the previous guest to provide greater security and privacy.
