Mexico. Three Holiday Inn Family hotels in Mexico, owned by the Fibra Inn group, underwent improvements and upgrades in recent months. In total, the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Guadalajara Centro Histórico, the Holiday Inn Tampico Altamira hotel and the Holiday Inn Express Toluca hotel, received an investment of $7.5 million dollars.
The three hotels now offer renovated rooms with new furnishings, modernised bedding and bathrooms. The Holiday Inn Tampico Altamira hotel also carried out an exhaustive remodeling of all its public areas, event rooms, the business center and gym as well as the restaurant, bar and pool area.
Gerardo Murray, Regional Vice President of Distribution and Commercial Marketing for Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean, said: "At IHG we are very proud to do business with companies like Fibra Inn that continue to invest in our brands as well as their private hotels. With the renovation of these three hotels, we know that the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands will continue to offer the best options to travelers visiting these important markets in Mexico."
