International. A survey conducted by the web portal for reservations, Trabber, revealed that the two most relevant aspects for guests when making a hotel reservation are WiFi connectivity, preferably free, and that the property has an air conditioning system.
The "Trabber Report of Most Valued Hotel Services 2015", revealed that respondents assigned a score of 9.07 and 8.62 out of 10, to these two items when rating their level of importance.
With average scores, between 5.1 and 6.51, elements such as the offer of Amenities, parking, breakfast, hairdryer, restaurants, television, airport shuttle service and swimming pool, were located in a second place in importance.
Speaking to the Mexican media El Economista, Oscar Frias, CEO of Trabber.mx, explained that "that does not mean, however, that they are not very important services for certain segments of the market. Travelers with pets are not the majority, but for them the point is a key service."
"It highlights that Wi-Fi is replacing TV as a source of entertainment and that more and more travelers are asking to check-out – or departures – later than standard times," the executive added.
