With 20 years of work in Cuba, the French chain Accor Hotels finalizes details for the inauguration on December 17 of the Pullman Cayo Coco hotel, in the central province of Ciego de Ávila.
The delegate of Accor Hotels in Havana, Eric Peyre explained that the opening of the property is the entry of Pullman to this island, a high-end brand with 81 hotels in about twenty countries.
During a gala to celebrate the group's two decades in Cuba, Peyre explained that the chain operates and markets the Mercure Sevilla hotels in the Cuban capital; and Mercure Playa de Oro, in the resort of Varadero.
More than 30 Cuban founders of Accor, established here on December 4, 1995, were recognized as part of the celebrations for the anniversary of the group of services that has more than four thousand hotels in 90 countries.
Built as property of the national group Gran Caribe, Pullman Cayo Coco will have 518 rooms spread over three bungalow areas and will be located on a strip of virgin beach of two kilometers in Las Coloradas.
The celebration at the Roof Garden restaurant of the Hotel Sevilla was attended by the Business Director of the Ministry of Tourism, José Daniel Alonso; the president for the North and Central America Region of ACCOR, Dominique Colliat and the Commercial Vice President of Grupo Hotelero Gran Caribe, Diana Olivera.
