International. Trend Control Systems has announced the availability of its next-generation Iqvision management and monitoring solution. The successor to the 963 supervisor, the Iqvision integrates Trend controllers, third-party devices, and Internet protocols into a centralized software platform designed to provide owners and administrators with the ability to quickly identify problems and optimize the efficiency of their systems.
Iqvision allows users to take advantage of BEMS and save energy in real time, Iqvision provides graphical information to standard Internet browsers. In addition, Iqvision includes tools for network management, which supports the design, configuration, installation and maintenance of the networks where the different types of Trend controllers are connected. In the same way, it is possible to integrate third-party devices using open standard protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus and KNX.
It has a wide range of functions such as centralized data logging, storage, alarm management, trend chart management, centralized programming, system-wide database management, and integration with enterprise software applications – all of which can be used for the study and management of energy use within buildings. IQVISION is configured using the state-of-the-art Niagara 4 interface, which in addition to being modern, intuitive and easy to use, uses HTML5 to provide a number of powerful features that are in tune with the demands in the Internet of Things (IoT). To improve security, comprehensive monitoring of database changes, storage and backups, weather functions, calendars, centralized scheduling, and energy management routines can also be configured.
