Latin America. Honeywell Security revealed a number of new products for building technology and home security that deliver increased security, comfort and efficiency for connected homes and buildings.
These are software and hardware solutions that encompass video surveillance, video analytics, and fire protection that help businesses operate more efficiently and effectively while maintaining the safety of employees and assets.
Unveiled during the IFSEC trade show, held in June in London, these connected solutions help optimise building management and improve consumers' lives by enabling owners and managers to use the data collected by systems to make faster, more informed decisions on how to operate more efficiently and protect buildings and properties. With Honeywell's connected system, staff are informed seven days a week, 24 hours a day, of the building's status and are immediately alerted when an alarm is triggered to take appropriate action.
Some of these solutions include forensic capabilities with the integration of Honeywell's Xtralis IntrusionTrace video content analytics and ADPRO iFT Series NVR+ from IP cameras with facial recognition or audio detection. The Xtralis VESDA-E VEP and VEA detectors also stand out.
Honeywell's portfolio also includes connected home solutions where homeowners have complete control of their safety and comfort by providing them with the peace of mind of knowing what's going on in and around their home, even when they're not in the home. One of the proposed solutions has been Total Connect Box, a discreet anti-intrusion security system via radio with remote management for homes and small businesses.
