Mexico. The Mexican Institute of the Intelligent Building (IMEI), made the change of Board of Directors, in the position of president will be Eduardo Miranda and vice president, Elsa Yáñez, who will have the hard work of directing this association during the period 2018 - 2019, the event was held at the Hacienda de los Morales, in Mexico City, where hundreds of members attended the protest takeover.
During the event, the outgoing president, Eduardo Zapiain, thanked the trust and support that the partners gave him, among his achievements are: increasing the number of sponsors of the IMEI, the number of members, greater interest in the diplomas carried out by the Institute, interaction with organizations of the disabled, as well as his approach with various associations, among others.
He pointed out that thanks to a rethinking of the Institute, he managed to have a greater presence both in the media and among the partners, who during his tenure attended 20 conferences in which 1,400 attendees participated.
Meanwhile, the new president of the IMEI, Eduardo Miranda thanked the support of the partners and pledged to continue working for the benefit of the Institute, stressed that the work done by Eduardo Zapiain, marked a new line of growth.
Meanwhile, the current vice president of the IMEI, Elsa Yáñez, thanked the assistance of the AMERIC and ASUME associations, which were present at the protest, which demonstrates the union that exists in the sector.
He expressed his concern for Mexico, said that it is outdated in the creation of new technologies, where various Latin American countries are leading the exports of new technologies.
It should be noted that for five years the Mexican Institute of Smart and Sustainable Building has been a representative of BOMA, responding to the needs of the real estate market that requires certified professionals.
