International. The Smart Building Conference 2018 completed its annual one-day event with a program comprised of high-level industry speakers, sponsorships from key players in the industry and the support of a large number of attendees in this seventh edition of its history.
This congress, which takes place one day before the Integrated Systems Europe fair, focused on explaining the intelligent revolution taking place within commercial and residential building environments.
Under the title From Smart Buildings to Smart City, delegates gained insights into how the digital revolution is rapidly driving change. "This comes from how consumers are absorbing smart technology into their homes through smart city designs or urban planning. Digitization is happening all around us," said Bob Snyder, moderator and presenter of the SBC.
In total, more than 30 international experts and leading thinkers explored the new opportunities within the rapid movement of smart buildings, offices, homes and sectors of the city. "One of the most satisfying aspects of the SBC is the trends that were addressed in previous years and are now a reality."
Surveys conducted during and after the congress revealed that close to 90% of attendees expressed their intention to return to SBC 2019. More than 80% said they plan to share their newly acquired information from speakers with their office or workplace colleagues.
The next edition of the Smart Building Conference, organized by the producers of the ISE fair, Integrated Systems Events, will take place on February 4, 2019. ISE 2019 will be held in Amsterdam RAI from 5 to 8 February 2019.
