International. Vicente Redondo, former director of facility management at JLL, will be in charge of the general management of Global Workplace Solutions. The incorporation comes after the consultancy started the year with a new wave of signings. The comings and goings of managers in the real estate business have become the day to day of the sector. The real estate consultancy CBRE has just incorporated Vicente Redondo, former director of facility management of JLL, as general director of Global Workplace Solutions for the Spanish and Portuguese market, as confirmed by the group to EjePrime. The manager thus returns to the consultancy, where he worked from 2000 to 2006.
Redondo returns to CBRE after gaining experience in building management and services. After working for groups such as Arthur Andersen or KPMG, the executive joined the CBRE team as CFO for Germany and Southern Europe of the facility management business.
In 2006, JLL hired the executive as regional director for Emea, although he also held positions in the financial area. In 2009, and until January 2018, Redondo held the position of director of facility management in Spain. In addition, the executive was appointed president of the Spanish Association of Facility Management (Ifma, for its acronym in English). Now, "Redondo assumes the challenge of continuing with the development and integration of the segment of services to companies in Spain and Portugal during these last years, especially in the areas of enterprise and local facility management", as explained in a statement from the consultancy.
