Chile. The venue was remodeled and will be available for Unión La Calera to play its home games at the venue.
After a long waiting time, the new Nicolás Chahuán stadium was inaugurated in the city of La Calera. The venue will host the home matches of the team in the area, will have a capacity for nine thousand spectators and will be one of the most modern in the country.
The cement redoubt is made of synthetic cork grass, an unprecedented surface in the country and also in South America. Another novelty is the LED lighting both outside and inside the stadium, which also had a large investment.
At the inauguration, the Minister of Public Works, Juan Andrés Fontaine, said that "the old desire to modernize this stadium is fulfilled. This infrastructure is transformed into a pole of sport development, healthy living and companionship."
