Mexico. The TecnoEdificios 2026 congress presented its academic program aimed at professionals linked to the management, operation and design of smart and efficient buildings in Latin America.
The event will bring together experts from the sector to analyze trends, share experiences and generate networking spaces focused on the future of facility management and infrastructure operation.
The program seeks to offer a refresher space for technicians, integrators, distributors, and decision-makers interested in optimizing the operation of buildings through technology, sustainability, and user-centered strategies. During the congress, attendees will be able to participate in academic talks, learn about innovations in the sector and connect with suppliers and industry specialists.
For the 2026 edition, the thematic axis will be "The Facility Manager as an architect of experiences: human, digital and sustainable management for buildings of the future", a proposal that proposes to strengthen the strategic role of the building manager by integrating technology, occupant well-being, sustainability and resilience in operational decision-making.
Among the main topics of the congress are:
- Facility management and comprehensive building operation
- Energy efficiency, sustainability and ESG standards
- Smart Maintenance and Operational Continuity
- User-centered design and occupant experience
- Advanced analytics, IoT, and automation for decision-making
The programme will also address six key lines that will mark the academic agenda: occupant experience, psychology of space, humanised data, resilient buildings, sustainability 4.0 and facility manager leadership, with the aim of analysing how building management evolves towards more strategic and data-oriented models.
Attendees will be able to access two modalities of participation: basic income, which includes access to the conferences, exhibition area, academic reports and event activities; and premium admission, which also incorporates lunches during the days of the congress.
The organization also announced promotions to facilitate participation, including the offer "buy three tickets and receive an additional one at no cost," as well as special discounts on registration.
The congress is positioned as one of the most relevant academic spaces in the region for those seeking to understand the new dynamics of building management and the technologies that drive smarter, more efficient and sustainable infrastructures.
