Mexico. The Mexican fiduciary Fibra Inn made an investment of $284 million Mexican pesos to acquire two hotels in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. These new acquisitions are aimed at the market of extended stays, that is, guests with stays longer than five days and that can extend for weeks or months.
The properties acquired by the firm are the Staybridge Suites Guadalajara Expo and the Arriva Express Guadalajara Plaza del Sol hotel, which add to the portfolio of 35 hotels and 6,238 rooms owned by Fibra Inn in Mexican territory.
The Staybridge hotel has 117 rooms and represented an investment of 133.6 million pesos for the company, to which will be added another 9 million in remodeling and improvements.
For its part, the Arriva Express was acquired for 141 million pesos and has 181 rooms.
