In the same sense, 91% said they were satisfied with the quality and cleanliness of their companies' bathrooms.
However, although the interviewees gave a high overall rating to this office space in their companies, 42% said they experienced situations such as dirty bathrooms, bad odors, empty soap dispensers, broken elements in the bathrooms, among others.
When it comes to shops and offices, unpleasant experiences in the bathroom create negative opinions of the business among customers. According to the survey, 69% percent of consumers associate poor bathroom conditions with poor management. Most customers who experience poor bathroom conditions also claim that their opinion of the company goes down and that this shows that the company does not care about its customers.
Another point addressed by the study was hand washing. In this case a division was found in terms of the habits in this sense of men and women. 64% of men surveyed revealed that they have seen colleagues leave the bathroom without washing their hands, while only 32% of women reported the same.
