The new era of GHR

 By Julián Arcila
I had many topics to talk about in this first editorial at the head of Hotel and Restaurant Management. However, I decided to be inclined to introduce myself and talk a little about the new projects we have with this publication that has been with all of you for four years.

To familiarize us, my name is Julián Arcila, and I am a journalist with experience in industrial and business issues. Although I had been editor of other magazines of the group, I always saw this publication as a very interesting vehicle, because there is no doubt that what happens in hotels is a clear reflection of what actually happens in the economy of a nation.

Within our goals for the coming months will be to consolidate the idea of Hotel and Restaurant Management as a means for conducting business in which we are an intermediary, clear and independent, between those who are at each end of the chain, that is, suppliers and managers of hotels and restaurants in our beloved Latin America.

For this reason, it is that you will find more and more information about the different trends on each of the issues that concern security, financial, maintenance, computer, room and other managers. But we will also discuss in this editorial small elements that are very useful in the management of such an important business, such as a hotel.

One of the elements that I would like to be clear among us is that Hotel and Restaurant Management is a magazine of everyone and for everyone, so do not limit yourself to suggesting topics and letting us know those areas that are of interest to you. For that do not hesitate to write to me to the mail [email protected]; I will try to respond as soon as possible. I look forward to your comments.

A hospitable greeting.
