A total of 12 candidates will participate in the contest that seeks to choose the Queen of Hospitality 2012 in Argentina. The ninth edition of this contest will be held this Wednesday, the first of August at 8:00 pm in Tango Porteño.
The event, which consists of a dinner show sponsored by the Association of Sponsors of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy of the Argentine Republic (Apthgra), was invited by more than 600 people, including workers in the sector, businessmen and the general public.
80 candidates applied for the shortlist, from which only 12 were nominated. The jury will have the mission of choosing the queen of hospitality, along with two princesses: Miss Elegance and Miss Sympathy.
According to Dante Camaño, president of Apthgra, Dante Camaño, "despite the crisis, we celebrate. The party is possible because workers, businessmen and neighborhood entities, together with the authorities of the City, coincide in the joint effort for the good of the City and for the good of the Homeland. "
At twelve o'clock on the night of the first of August, the party will coincide with the beginning of the Day of the gastronomic worker and for which the Association has prepared different cultural activities.
The Queen of Hospitality and the princesses will be chosen once again among candidates representing tourism, hospitality and gastronomy who perform tasks of attention to the public. In addition to its beauty, the jury will take into account the preparation, sympathy and cordiality of the applicants.
