The study found that 41% of travel agents worldwide are using their GDS platform more frequently than in the past, while 30% are using GDS purchase screens more frequently. When asked about GDS promotional messages, 55% of travel agents recalled seeing promotional messages in the past three months. Of this group, 52% made reservations at a hotel shown in the promotional messages they saw, while 68% required more information by looking at the screen to click attached to the promotional message and more than 70% searched within the GDS for more information.
