With the opening of four new properties in Mexico and entry into Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Aruba, the adult resort chain Secrets Spas & Resorts will add more than 3,000 suites and rooms in different Caribbean destinations by 2010. According to its marketing representative Alex Zozaya, CEO and president of AMResorts: "The positive response from guests is invaluable, and it is the impetus behind our decision to expand the Secrets brand."
In July and August of this year, Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun and Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun will be inaugurated, respectively. Secrets Maroma Beach is located in Playa Maroma, recognized by Travel Channel as the best in the world. In the south of Oaxaca, Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa will be since the end of 2009 the first property of the chain in that destination for high-end tourism, with 400 luxury suites near the international airport, five minutes from the Tangolunda golf course and neighbor of natural attractions of the place.
In the Dominican Republic, the chain will venture for the same date with Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa and Secrets Punta Cana Resort & Spa, both in places of great natural beauty, in the Bay of Bayahibe and in Playa Juanillo, respectively. The first resort will have 402 suites and gourmet dining options to tempt the most select travelers, while Secrets Punta Cana, with 500 suites, will offer among other amenities, six themed a la carte restaurants, jacuzzis overlooking the ocean, multiple premium liquor bars and an oversized pool.
