The Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels were selected by the London Olympic Committee to be the official providers of hotel services in the 2012 orbital jousts. The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) chain is preparing a $1 billion relaunch and will offer accommodation and meeting rooms to the Locog and its partners through the Games.
Speaking to tormo.com, Andy Cosslett, CEO of IHG, commented that "with the $1 billion relaunch of Holiday Inn successfully underway, having been selected to welcome guests from the Locog and its partner organizations into our hotels comes at the perfect time."
