The last week of October 2010 presented a good outlook for the U.S. hotel industry.According to data provided by STR in year-over-year comparisons, from October 24 to 30 occupancy increased 11.7% to 57.9%, the average daily rate, ADR, grew 0.7% to US$99.84 and revenue per available room, RevPAR, ended the week with an increase of 12.5% to US$57.76.
The highest occupancy was reported by Detroit, Michigan: 24.5% for 58.4%, the highest ADR was obtained by Washington, D.C. with 8.3% for US$166.93, and its RevPAR was also the one that presented the highest increase with 33.5% for US$136.77.
