The leading transaction processing company and provider of technology solutions for the global travel and tourism sector, Amadeus, announced a partnership with start-up Forward Data to launch Forward Keys, a business information tool for hotels and tourism destination marketing companies. "This is a missed opportunity in a sector that moves mainly with IT transactions that generate large amounts of data every day and provide key information on current and future trends," said Olivier Jager, CEO of Forward Data S.L.
The Forward Keys solution enables revenue managers to quantify future demand based on tangible and up-to-date market data provided by Amadeus. It will also help hoteliers stay ahead of demand, identify dates when they can improve their bottom line, compare budgeted occupancy to market occupancy, and make more accurate decisions about managing their revenue.
