The Board of Directors of the Colombian Hotel Association (COTELCO) has appointed Muvdi Chiari as president, in an appointment that will be valid for one year (until March 2012) with the possibility of re-election.
This administrator of tourism and hotel companies has been in the sector for nearly 30 years and has served as manager of several hotels in his country, including the new Smart Suites Royal de Barranquilla.
The goal, according to Chiari, is to unite the big chains to continue with the improvement of Colombian hospitality. "There is a work scheme proposed and the idea is to show the benefits and benefits of being in the union to increase the affiliation of hoteliers."
