Real estate entrepreneur Luis Fernando Correa announced that his company has set a goal of building 100 new hotel establishments, of which 10 are almost ready.
"The dynamics of the Colombian economy and the opportunity to have a country that is open and friendly abroad is making hotel businesses move faster than expected," the businessman told local newspaper Portafolio, explaining his ambitious plan.
Currently the entrepreneur has ten projects underway, including the
TRYP Embassy with 251 rooms, the Wyndham with 260 rooms, TRYP 98 with 90 rooms and Wingate autonorte with 100 with 250 rooms, all of them in Bogotá.
Likewise, the TRYP with 140 rooms and the Wyndham Grand Collection with 40 rooms, in Medellín; La Caracola Wyndham resorts with 240 rooms in Santa Marta and the Gran Hotel in Cúcuta, a city bordering Venezuela that is characterized by constant industrial activity.
