The third edition of Expo Lighting America (ELA), an event dedicated to promoting the installation of smart structures in buildings to improve their energy performance, was held in recent days in Mexico City.
According to the regulatory body of certifications in Mexico, NYCE, in that country eight out of ten business or residential buildings are inefficient in terms of their use, operation and energy consumption.
The event was held at the Banamex Convention and Exhibition Center and was ratified as the ideal forum to publicize smart lighting structures and bring together the most representative companies in the lighting sector and professionals from similar industries.
ELA brought together 25 speakers from Europe, Asia and America who were in charge of talking about the new trends in the global context of LED technology, also addressed issues such as energy saving and public lighting.
