Mexico. The Mexican Institute of Smart Building, IMEI, will hold this Wednesday, February 26, a talk focused on the existing standards for buildings in that country. The talk entitled "Standardization in Mexico: General Scheme for the Building Industry" will be held in the Thai House Room of the JW Marriott Hotel.
The speakers of the talk will be the engineers Darío Ibargüengoitia González, Guillermo Casar Marcos and Roberto Sánchez López. The speakers will talk about the current standardization and the work that IMEI, AMERIC and SUME are currently doing in conjunction with ONNCCE, ANCE and NYCE national standardization organizations who have the responsibility of carrying out the Mexican standards that affect this industry.
The meeting will begin with the intervention of Eng. Roberto Sánchez López who participates in AMERIC and IMEI as coordinator of standardization in these organizations, will talk about the work that the three organizations are developing to integrate a scheme that allows achieving the objectives of energy efficiency and sustainability that every building must have.
Next, Civil Engineer Guillermo Casar will give an overview of the integration of the various systems that are included in a high-performance building such as: use, collection and treatment of water, architecture and civil engineering, automation, among others.
Finally, Eng. Darío Ibargüengoitia, President of SUME and coordinator of the work of the World Green Building Council in Mexico, will give a vision on how the Commissioning of high performance buildings.
