Colombia. Next Tuesday, March 18, the Facility Management Week will be inaugurated in Bogotá. The activities of this event will take place until Friday 21, when the second edition organized in Colombia will be concluded.
The first edition took place in Medellín, last year 2013. This traveling event that circulates through different Spanish-speaking cities has the sole objective of publicizing the discipline of Facility Management in the different environments where it has an impact.
The Bogotá edition will host numerous activities that will serve as a meeting point for all those interested in Facility Management. Professionals will find a forum of similar profiles where they can exchange experiences and best practices. Students will be able to attend introductory talks that may make this their profession of the future and teachers can see in the FM an area of study and research.
For companies in the sector, it can be a way to make yourself known, whether you are already a service provider, or if you want to enter this business world. For other companies not related to the sector, it can be a way to know how Facility Management can help improve and optimize the activities that, according to IFMA (International Facility Management Association), represent the second cost center of companies, after those associated with Human Resources.
During the days of Facility Management Week, facility managers from companies such as Ecopetrol, Alquería, Bancolombia and UNAL will be present. It will also have the support of Colliers International and MTS. Attendees will be able to receive specialized training and meet personally with trainers for advice.
To register or obtain more information about this event you can do so on the www.lsdfm.com website or by emailing [email protected].
