Colombia. The construction, architecture and design fair, ExpoCamacol, which will take place at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center in the city of Medellín from August 27 to 30, announced that for its 2014 edition it has twelve exhibition pavilions, today occupied 100% with a total of 410 exhibitors specialized in construction systems, materials, products and inputs, among other elements of application in the different stages of the building process.
In addition to the extensive exhibition area, the fair will have various complementary activities; among them a wide range of talks, seminars and trainings. The following are some of the academic events that will be held within the framework of the event:

- Seminar advances in applied research in the construction sector
- Case studies of sustainable construction in Colombia
- Second seminar on the use of seismic response control devices in structures to mitigate earthquake disasters
