Colombia. The Colombian Council of Sustainable Construction – CCCS – will hold this week a course on sustainable construction aimed at students and professionals recently graduated. The course will be held in the city of Bogotá this Tuesday, December 2 and Wednesday, December 3 and in the city of Medellín on the 4th and 5th of the same month.
The event "Fundamentals of sustainable construction for students" will be taught by engineer Miguel Orejuela and will include four modules focused on basic concepts of sustainable construction, green roofs and drinking water consumption, material handling, delivery systems and certification.
According to information published by the Council, the objective of the course is that participants "are able to identify through practical cases, good practices and technical and environmental principles that guide sustainable construction and that can be incorporated into the different stages of the life cycle of highly efficient projects".
