United States. Just a few weeks after the acquisition of the Global Workplace division of Johnson Controls by the real estate services company CBRE, it was announced that the company specialized in energy management Environmental Systems (ESI) will also become part of CBRE.
Based in the United States, ESI develops solutions that enable occupants and owners of commercial real estate to effectively manage their systems, as well as remotely monitor and analyze energy use in real time to identify and achieve potential savings.
Bill Concannon, CBRE's Global Corporate Services Executive Director, said: "ESI complements our current range of outsourcing services related to facilities management. Our customers are increasingly turning to us to leverage new and existing controls, as well as to learn about the data that can be extracted from systems to drive greater energy efficiency."
