Chile. The Chilean construction company Paz Corp announced its departure from Brazil due to the current economic situation of this country, instead it will concentrate its efforts on operations in Chile and Peru, which represented 98% of its revenues during 2014.
As reported by the Chilean newspaper El Financiero, the company's management made this determination after conducting an exhaustive analysis of Brazil's economic situation, associated risks and real estate development opportunities, while Chile and Peru offer more attractive prospects for long-term growth.
To finalize its definitive withdrawal from Brazil, the company began a process of selling its real estate businesses in that country.
