Chile. SINCE the first of October, ISS Chile has been offering cleaning services at the facilities of the Mussel Plant – Mejillones Thermoelectric Power Plant (CTM) of the company E-CL (formerly Electroandina). This service includes toilet services in offices and common spaces. The staff consists of a supervisor, a risk preventionist and more than 20 operators.
The company E-CL is the largest electricity company in the Interconnected System of the Norte Grande de Chile (SING), specialized in the production and transport of electrical energy.
It is also the first electricity generator in northern Chile, with a 49% stake in the SING, and they are ranked fourth in the country by installed capacity. In E-CL they are mainly dedicated to the production, distribution and supply of electrical energy to industrial customers and mining companies established in the Norte Grande of Chile.
In addition, they have a policy of contributing to the diversification of the country's energy sources, participating in the business of buying, selling, distributing and marketing gas and its derivatives; as well as in the purchase, sale and transport of all kinds of fuels.
