A study conducted by the renowned company specialized in tourism and internet, TripAdvisor, revealed that one of the issues that becomes more important for current guests is the WiFi connection.
For 85% of respondents, internet connectivity and good quality is the most important service and offers greater added value when choosing their accommodation in a hotel, especially if it is free.
It is not surprising that breakfast becomes the second most important service in the offer of a hotel establishment. Today's travelers expect breakfast to be included in the booking, with 78% of study participants wanting their first meal of the day to be free.
In third place are the loyalty points, those that accumulate when booking in establishments of the same chain. To this factor are added the services corresponding to entertainment and sports and, finally, a plus are the amenities offered by the hotel, 54% of travelers canceled their hotel reservations when they found more amenities elsewhere, said the Preferred website.
Some of the services that are not so relevant to guests as reported by the TripAdvisor study are housekeeping, room service and tours organized by the hotel.
