A cleaning, disinfection and refurbishment operation was recently carried out in the municipal market of La Quiaca, Argentine municipality. The initiative was carried out by the Directorate of Bromatology and the administration of the Municipal Market of the Ministry of environment of Argentina.
The space already required a deep cleaning of premises both external and interior, its ceilings, windows, sidewalks and passages. The operations also involved disinfection and deratization of the entire building.
Likewise, electrical maintenance work, restoration of painting of walls and bars, welding of metal parts, repair of lighting, among other tasks, were carried out. To this end, the Directorates of Urban Cleaning, Green Spaces, Public Works and the Electricity sector were summoned.
According to the Ministry of Environment of the municipality of Quiaqueño, the work was carried out on holidays so as not to hinder the normal dynamics of the market. "They were established, through a survey and the situations raised by the sellers, all the refurbishment work that had to be carried out both in the building and in the private premises."
It should be noted, as highlighted by the Secretariat, that this operation had not been carried out for many years, a fact that is not ideal for the conditions of the property and the activities that take place there. The entity also pointed out the commitment assumed by Mayor Dante Velázquez and the Secretariat itself to improve the environmental conditions of the city and to preserve the historical heritage of the municipality through the care, protection and preventive maintenance of its infrastructure.
