International. The company Schneider Electric presented its energy management service for hotels "Smart Hotel", in an event on sustainability in this sector held in Spain at the end of March. During this event, the head of the Hotels segment of Schneider Electric, Beatriz Heras Paz-albo, explained that Smart Hotel allows hotel companies to meet the demands of the market in terms of energy efficiency and sustainability.
This is possible through the implementation of EcoStruxure software, with multiple open protocols (Modbus, Bacnet, TCP/IP, XML or LonMark) as a fully integrated control platform in the cloud.
With this software it is possible to have a customized, integral, integrated and 100% scalable solution, which allows to cover the needs of a hotel throughout its useful life as well as adapt to different types and sizes of properties.
This cloud technology allows the user to remotely monitor the functionalities of their hotel, from an access control backed by security cameras, intrusion detectors and fire alarms, through up-to-the-minute information on lighting, energy management, building, rooms or elevators.
