International. LG Electronics (LG) introduced the latest version of the LG Styler, a smart closet that takes care of clothes using steam. Its technology makes it possible to keep clothes fresh, especially those that require special care, such as suits, coats, blouses and sweaters.
Through the use of steam and other patented innovations, LG Styler reduces wrinkles, eliminates odors and helps disinfect clothes without detergents or other chemicals that deteriorate clothes. The patented technologies included in the Styler, such as LG TrueSteam, employ hot steam to carefully disinfect clothes, eliminate wrinkles and bad odors left by cigarettes, food and sweat.
In combination with the steam spray, this product is also equipped with a moving suspension that gently shakes the clothes so that they are wrinkle-free. Another useful feature is the pressure used in the pants, which eliminates wrinkles formed on the back of the knees against daily wear and tear and leaves a perfect fold in the center of each piece of the legs.
The new Model of the Styler incorporates IoT, with the Intelligent Diagnostics function, which alerts users through their smartphone when the unit requires maintenance or repair. Additionally, it has Tag-On, which allows users to download specific custom cycles for different types of clothing.
Although designed for use in homes, this device could be a novel added value for hotels and offices.
