IHG has turned the Holiday Inn Select in Lima, Peru, into Crowne Plaza Lima. The 88-room, 15-story property is managed by its owner, Inversiones Don Quijote SA, under license from the group, and has a privileged location in the Miraflores district, the city's financial, commercial, cultural and tourist center. A team of expert architects and designers expanded and transformed the property to meet crowne brand standards. Thus, a floor with 13 rooms has been added, and the lobby has been renovated with Italian marble, natural wood and two registration areas; the rooms and floors were transformed with the colors and designs of the Crowne Plaza hotels; three floors have been dedicated to the Club, which house a lounge where gourmet breakfasts and afternoon snacks are offered, and the restaurant and business center have been expanded and improved. In addition, a first-class full spa will soon be opened, and all other brand-branded services are being provided, such as meeting and convention spaces and the event organizing team, and the Sleep Advantage program.
