The rapid expansion of Starwood Hotels & Resorts has reached the Inca country. The network has announced three openings in the next two years. Managed by the franchise of Inversiones Nacionales de Turismo S.A., the first Westin will be opened in Lima, and two luxury brand properties in Cusco and Urubamba. Palacio del Inca Libertador Luxury Collection Hotel will open in Cusco in 2009 offering 192 rooms with 14 suites, two restaurants, a spa and more than 176 m2 of meeting space. At the beginning of 2010, the Sacred Valley Libertador Luxury Collection Hotel will open nearby, the first international hotel in the sacred valley of Urubamba, with 128 rooms and more than 390 m2 of space for meetings. Around the same time, the Westin Libertador Lima Hotel will open in Lima, in the exclusive sector of San Isidro, with 311 rooms, more than 2787 m2 of meeting space, lobby bar, two restaurants and the services and amenities of the Westin brand.
