Over the next five years, the Italian hotel chain Luxury Properties plans to invest between 10 and 15 million dollars in Peru as part of its expansion and consolidation plan. José Carlos Canales, general manager of the chain for Peru, explained that the investments will be made in three boutique projects located in Cuzco, Lima and another destination that has not yet been defined, possibly in the north of the country. These hotels will have personalized service and a colonial style that will be preserved in all the properties acquired, however they will be maximized by providing them with modernity in order to satisfy the most exquisite taste of the luxury tourist.
Luxury Properties, which already owns a hotel in Cuzco, began its search for properties for the hotel business three and a half years ago in Mexico.
