Autofin Mexico will inaugurate this month the new $350 million resort, Mundo Imperial, with which local authorities hope to revitalize the destination. The construction that began in 2003 and that will give life to Mundo Imperial, is located two kilometers from the Acapulco airport, has a total area of 250,000 square meters, will generate 1,700 direct and temporary jobs, will also have a convention center with 33,000 square meters and 40 boardrooms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
The resort will have a luxury hotel with 805 rooms, a spa specializing in traditional Chinese medicine, and a shopping promenade with six restaurants and shops.
