NH Hoteles invested 130 million dollars in the construction of its first luxury establishment in Mexico, which will be located in the Mexican Caribbean.The NH Rivera Cancun, the name given to the hotel, will operate under the limited all-inclusive system and will have 550 suites of avant-garde concept, divided into 394 junior suites and 156 Paradise Club suites.
Although the economic situation impacts all regions of the world, NH's directives maintain faith in Mexico, because the tourist activity of the Aztec country presents more prosperous results compared to other countries in America and Europe.
Likewise, the chain will maintain its plans for new openings in Mexico during this year, which include the start of hotel operations in the Riviera Maya, Guadalajara, Querétaro and in Terminal 2 of the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM).
