The Barceló Group reported that between the months of October and November it will open a new complex in Havana, Cuba, where the Barceló Habana Ciudad will be inaugurated, in the Miramar area, close to the embassies and other renowned hotels. This was announced by Josep Brichs Sala, general director of Vacaciones Barceló, who during a visit to Argentina commented on some novelties that the company will present for the remainder of 2009. "It's a new construction, it's a competitive advantage. We think it's going to be very important for cuba's operation, because every Latin American enters the country for their capital," he said.
The representative of the firm also spoke about a new system that they will implement to make online reservations, through a username and password.
